Peel Children's Aid
Zeina Adra currently serves as the Executive Coordinator for the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Department at Peel Children's Aid, a role held since August 2019. Concurrently, Zeina works as a Voice Over Artist for Ethnic Voice Talent since January 2015. Previously, Zeina was a School Settlement Response Worker at Peel District School Board and a Columnist and Writer for Sakher Sabeel Arabic Newspaper. Zeina also contributed as a Diversity Support Interpreter at Trillium Health Partners and served in roles focused on community outreach and client services with Peel Children and Youth Initiative and the Centre for Education and Training, respectively. Earlier experience includes facilitating family literacy programs for the Region of Peel and fulfilling executive administrative duties at Higher Colleges of Technology. Zeina holds a B.A. in English Literature from Jami't Al-Ba'ath.
Peel Children's Aid
Peel Children's Aid served more than 7,800 families and 16,300 children in the Region of Peel. More than 160 foster families in Brampton, Mississauga and Caledon provided homes for children in care. More than 5,500 investigations were conducted by the Agency.
