Doris Balderrama

Doris Balderrama has a strong background in human resources and ethics & compliance. Doris is currently the Director of Human Resources at PEMCO, where they develop and drives the talent strategy to support business objectives and oversees various HR programs. Previously, they worked at Starbucks for almost 20 years, where they held various roles in ethics & compliance. As the Director of Ethics & Compliance, they led a global team, managed the budget, and advised senior leaders and the Board of Directors on conflicts of interest. Doris also developed enterprise-wide policies and procedures and managed training initiatives. Prior to joining Starbucks, Doris worked as an Assistant Managing Editor and Freelance Editor at Texas Lawyer and Texas Lawyer Press, where they organized, edited, and wrote content for legal publications.

Doris Balderrama earned a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 1998. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Language and Literature from Texas Tech University in 1995.
