Sharon Pennington

Sharon Pennington is an accomplished HR leader with extensive experience in diverse roles across the gaming and hospitality industries. Currently serving as Vice President of HR Operations at Penn National Gaming since August 2018, Sharon aligns HR functions with company strategy and oversees employee/labor relations, compliance, and policy implementation. Prior roles include Vice President of Human Resources at Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast and comprehensive HR leadership positions at South Jersey Industries, where Sharon spent over a decade in various capacities, including Director of HR and CHRO. Previous experience also includes significant roles at Resorts International Hotel Casino, Caesars Entertainment, and Players International, focusing on all facets of human resource management, employee relations, and talent development. Sharon holds a Doctor of Law degree from Rutgers Law School and began their career as an associate at Horn, Goldberg.
