Robert A. Royster III

Robert A. Royster III, M.D., F.C.C.P. has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Robert A. is currently working at Penn Highlands Healthcare as the Medical Director of Cardiac Anesthesia and also serves as a Cardiac Anesthesiologist. Prior to this, they were the Chief Executive Officer at Vigilance Anesthesia Group PLLC. Robert A. also worked at American Anesthesiology as an Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine Physician for a period of ten years. Before that, they served as the President and CEO of Vigilance Anesthesiology, LLC. Dr. Royster started their career as a Staff Physician at Anesthesiology of Paducah, PSC and later worked as a Medical staff physician at Deaconess Hospital, Inc. Overall, they have extensive experience in the field of anesthesiology and critical care medicine.

- From 1990 to 1994, they attended Indiana University Bloomington where they obtained a B.A. in Chemistry and English.

- In 1994-1995, they pursued further studies at Indiana University Indianapolis, earning an M.S. in Biology.

- Robert A. then attended Indiana University School of Medicine from 1995 to 1999, obtaining their M.D.

- Following that, they completed their residency in Anesthesiology from 1999 to 2003 at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine.

- Lastly, from 2003 to 2004, they participated in a Fellowship program in Critical Care Medicine, also at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine.
