Maxwell Gibbard

Maxwell Gibbard is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Technology Captain for Penn State THON™, where responsibilities include providing software solutions and maintaining a vital website using Django. Gibbard also holds the position of Committee Director for the Penn State Lion Ambassador Student Alumni Corps, organizing community engagement projects and managing budgets exceeding $15,000. Internship experience includes a role at Boeing Defense, Space & Security, focused on systems engineering data integration, automation, and website design. Previous entrepreneurial work as the founder of The Pennington Crew involved managing a landscaping business while engaging with the local community. Additionally, leadership roles in the University Park Undergraduate Association encompassed oversight of committees and advocacy across Big 10 institutions. Gibbard is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Penn State University, expected to graduate in May 2026.
