Joseph Torsella serves as the 77th State Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a position held since January 2017, bringing over 25 years of public service experience marked by leadership and integrity. Torsella previously functioned as the U.S. Ambassador to the UN for Management and Reform from 2011 to 2014, overseeing significant reform initiatives and fiscal oversight. Prior to this, Torsella was the founding CEO and President of the National Constitution Center, which achieved international recognition under leadership. Torsella also contributed to public policy as a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at Drexel University in 2015 and served as Deputy Mayor for Policy and Planning in Philadelphia in the early 1990s. Educationally, Torsella holds a Bachelor's Degree in History and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and studied at the University of Oxford.
