Ben Karp

Ben Karp has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Ben started their career as the Director of Marketing and Business Development at Volumebuy, Inc. from June 1999 to February 2001. Ben then worked at California Regional MLS (CRMLS) where they held various roles, including Operations Manager, Project Manager, and E-Commerce Manager / Product Developer from 2001 to 2010. Following the acquisition of CALMLS, Ben was retained as a full-time consultant to manage product development and enhancement initiatives during the transition stage.

In 2011, Ben served as the Executive Vice President of Operations at 3PL Systems, Inc. where they stabilized operations during a crisis management period and maintained operations at or above breakeven despite significant challenges.

From 2012 to 2016, Ben worked as the Vice President of Operations at Capital Brands LLC, a consumer products distributor, where they established the operating infrastructure and developed procurement strategies for various products.

In 2016, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Murchison-Hume, a CPG manufacturer and distributor, where they successfully executed a turnaround strategy by implementing lean processes and efficient manufacturing and distribution practices.

Since 2017, Ben has been working at PennyMac, a financial services firm, initially as the Senior Vice President of Global Contracts & Vendor Management and later as the Executive Vice President of Global Contracts & Strategic Sourcing. In these roles, they have overseen significant vendor spend and played a key role in various organizational initiatives.

Ben Karp holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, which they completed in 2009. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Information Systems/Marketing from The George Washington University School of Business.
