Job Description

We are looking for a strategic, yet hands-on Vice President of Enterprise Sales to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, experienced in DaaS and SaaS enterprise sales, while possessing an understanding of the CPG and Retail space. If you would describe yourself as an entrepreneurial self-starter who is creative, extremely high energy, and thrives on challenges, this opportunity might be for you. As the VP of Enterprise Sales this is a player-coach role. You will be responsible for closing enterprise sales deals yourself, as well as leading/managing our growing sales team. You will also be responsible for identifying, landing and closing large deals in the Packaged Goods (CPG) space through channel partner sales teams and selling in-store workforce solutions directly to CPG and retailers.

Responsibilities

  • Work enterprise CPG and retailer accounts to DAAS (data as a service) and SAAS deals
  • Dive deep in understanding enterprise accounts business needs and shape alignment to Pensa’s data and software solutions
  • Understand account organizational decision-making and develop deep and broad relationships as needed to close enterprise deals
  • Develop and manage referral and co-sale structures with key partners
  • Manage channel partners as primary lead generation referrals and co-sales
  • Coach and manage existing sales team
  • Work closely with other revenue drivers: product marketing, product management, customer success, Project Management Office and senior leadership to drive sales opportunities
  • Participate in internal team meetings to collaborate with supporting ecosystem on opportunities, resolve customer issues, share best practices, and work with cross functional teams

Requirements

  • Enterprise sales experience selling medium to large SaaS or DaaS sales deals
  • Experience in enterprise sales to Retail, CPG or in-store workforce software solutions
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
  • Ability to manage complex enterprise sales cycles
  • Adept at discovery to identify key client questions for which Pensa is a good solution
  • Proven ability to evangelize ground-breaking new product categories
  • Ability to build deep client relationships to close enterprise sales
  • Ability to negotiate and close major contracts.
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate other sellers
  • Ability to work independently in a high-growth, high-energy environment
  • Must be strategic, both in positioning Pensa’s solutions to Enterprise customers as well as to articulate customer requirements internally
  • Very strong written and oral communication skills
