Wendy Waddell

Wendy Waddell's work experience includes serving as the Chief Operating Officer at People Incorporated Mental Health Services since August 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Inpatient Mental Health at Regions Hospital from 2005 to July 2019. Before joining Regions Hospital, they held the position of Assistant DON, Psychiatry at Parkland Hospital from 1998 to 2005. Wendy also has experience as the Director of Psychiatry at Doctors Hospital of Dallas from 1993 to 1998.

Wendy Waddell completed their Bachelor of Nursing degree at the University of Manitoba from 1982 to 1986. Wendy pursued further education at The University of Texas at Arlington, where they obtained a Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Mental Health CNS, from 1988 to 1993. Wendy Waddell continued their academic journey by attending Capella University from 2010 to 2015, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management.
