Jose Lira

Jose Lira possesses extensive experience in proposal development and operations, currently serving as Director of Proposal Development at Peraton since April 2017. In this role, Jose leads and manages a team of over 35 professionals, overseeing proposal operations' assets, war room utilization, and IT capabilities expansion. Prior to Peraton, Jose held various key positions at Harris Corporation, where responsibilities included managing proposal teams, procurement of production resources, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additional experience includes senior proposal management at BAE Systems and roles in software development at ITT Inc., underscoring a strong background in both technical and leadership capacities. Jose earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from George Mason University.
