Wenson D. Rajan Karunakaran

Wenson D. Rajan Karunakaran is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in scientific management and bio-analytical development. Currently serving as Lead (Scientific Manager II) at Perfect Day since November 2022, Wenson D. Rajan Karunakaran previously held the position of Senior Research Scientist at Pandorum Technologies, where responsibilities included developing organoid models for drug discovery and leading a four-member team. Earlier roles included postdoctoral research at both VIB-KU Leuven Center for Brain & Disease Research and Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, focusing on T-cell dynamics in the brain and mitochondria-mediated inflammation, respectively. Wenson D. Rajan Karunakaran obtained a Ph.D. in Immunology/Neurobiology from Nencki Institute and holds a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Loyola College and Pondicherry University, respectively.
