Abdulhamid Abari

Abdulhamid Abari is a seasoned Health and Safety Specialist with extensive experience in implementing safety management systems across various industries. Currently at PERI since December 2020, Abdulhamid successfully achieved ISO 45001 Certification for PERI Canada in 2022 and collaborates with stakeholders to enhance incident prevention plans. Previous roles include Health and Safety Coordinator at Schlumberger, where a significant reduction in worker’s compensation and Lost Time Incidents was realized, and at Nael & Bin Harmal Hydroexport Qatar W.L.L, where substantial savings in insurance fees were attained through effective hazard mitigation strategies. Earlier experience includes developing safety training for workers at Don Construction Products. Abdulhamid holds a Master’s degree in Process Safety and Loss Prevention from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Igbinedion University, Okada.
