Sarah Hassan

Sarah Hassan's work experience includes serving as the Co President at PERIOD since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President of Education at PERIOD from May 2021 to April 2023. Sarah also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at McMaster University starting in April 2022. Sarah has experience as a Senior Researcher and Gender Equality Director at The World With MNR since September 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Private Tutor providing academic help in Science and Math to students in grades 9 to 12 since September 2019. Sarah also worked as a Chiropractic/Physiotherapy Assistant at Chiropractic First from January 2022 to April 2023. Sarah was a Biology Instructor at Evesco Edu from May 2021 to September 2021 and a Global Health Intern at Think Pacific from May 2021 to August 2021. Lastly, Sarah has experience as a Dental Assistant at Dr. Gold's Source Dental from September 2018 to February 2019, where they gained skills in communication, equipment sterilization, and restorative chair side assistance among other tasks.

From 2016 to 2020, Sarah attended Sinclair Secondary School and obtained their High School Diploma.

In 2020, they enrolled at McMaster University and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree. The expected completion of their degree is in 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Sarah has also obtained several certifications. In September 2020, they completed the "French as a Second Language" certification from the Durham District School Board. In December 2021, they obtained their CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the Canadian Red Cross. Lastly, in May 2023, they completed the "Good Clinical Practices (GCP) Canada" certification from the CITI Program.
