Senior Scientist Medicinal Chemistry at PerioTrap Pharmaceuticals GmbH

Daniel Ramsbeck has a diverse work experience in various scientific roles. Daniel currently serves as a Guest Lecturer at Hochschule Anhalt starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry at PerioTrap Pharmaceuticals GmbH from August 2021.

From May 2020 until the present, Daniel held the position of Junior Research Group Leader at Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology/Department of Drug Design and Target Validation. Additionally, they served as the Head of Lab Medicinal and Peptide Chemistry from August 2013. In February 2013, they started as a Scientist and as a Guest Scientist from July 2012 to January 2013 in the same organization.

In 2013, Daniel worked as a Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Universität Leipzig, and they held this position until 2022. Daniel also had a Postdoc role at Paul-Flechsig-Institut for Brain Research from July 2012 to January 2013. Additionally, they had a Postdoc position at Probiodrug from July 2011 to April 2012.

Daniel Ramsbeck earned their Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg from 2000 to 2004. Daniel then pursued a Diploma (Master Degree) in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the same institution, completing it in 2005. Following this, they attended Probiodrug from 2005 to 2011, where they obtained their Ph.D. in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
