Edmund Peck Huang Cheong

Edmund Peck Huang Cheong serves as the Chair for the International Committee at IAIABC since January 2023, focusing on promoting global engagement in work health, safety, and accident compensation programs. With extensive experience at PERTUBUHAN KESELAMATAN SOSIAL (PERKESO) since June 2014, Edmund has held various roles including Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer and Deputy Director of the SOCSO Rehabilitation Centre, managing significant system developments in benefit management and enforcement. Additionally, Edmund contributes as a Technical Expert for the Malaysian Social Protection Council and the International Social Security Association, and is recognized as a Technical Member for the Technical Committee on Sharing Economy ISO TC 324 in Malaysia. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and a certification as a Disability Management Professional from the National Institute of Disability Management and Research Canada.
