Frederic M. Clifford

Trustee at Perkins School for the Blind

Clifford is retired from a management career in the financial services sector, including a long stint at Kidder Peabody & Co. He owned Clifford Associates where he was an investor and advisor to several early stage companies. Clifford has been a Perkins trustee since 1986, is a governor’s appointee, and served as chair of the board from 2008-2014. He previously served as chair of Beth Israel Deaconess-Plymouth and Jordan Health Foundation where he was also a board member. Clifford is chairman and co-founder of the Duxbury Bay Maritime School, an overseer of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Partners HealthCare (now Mass General Brigham), and a director of Pioneer Institute.
