Shawn Smith

Shawn Smith has been working in the supply chain industry since 1994. In 2003, they began working at Veeco Instruments as a Field Operations - TubroDisc, where they managed product through the installation and commissioning cycle of product start-up and hand-off. Shawn achieved ISO 9001 compliance in 1997 and was a member of the corporate Steering Committee. In 2004, they joined Plymovent Corp as the Director of Operations and Engineering, where they led the realignment of the back-end of the business, managing and reinventing five internal departments. In 2013, they moved to Tingley Rubber Corporation as the Director Global Supply Chain, where they were responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the global supply chain. In 2015, they joined Component Hardware Group as the Director Global Supply Chain, where they were responsible for developing the global supply chain roadmap, strategy and departmental execution plan. In 2019, they joined Safran as the Director Of Operations and in 2020 they began working at Perma Pure LLC as the Vice President of Supply Chain.

Shawn Smith attended Kean University from 2010 to 2012, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Supply Chain. Shawn also obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Industrial Engineering from Kean University. Prior to that, Shawn Smith attended Middlesex College and obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Mechanical Engineering.
