Hazel Levin

Hazel Levin has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. They started their career as an Assistant in Marketing at PRG Marketing Communications, where they gained skills in merchandising and logistics. They then worked at 3DTAC Inc. as an Information Assistant, developing bookkeeping and government proposal writing skills.

At Transport Canada - Transports Canada, they held two roles. First, as an Officer in Management Systems, they contributed to the development and improvement of the Integrated Management Systems program and the National Civil Aviation Risk Register. Later, as an Analyst in International Aviation, they initiated a technical assistance program to strengthen aviation safety and oversaw program requests and stakeholder promotion.

Hazel joined Merrithew™ as a Sales Coordinator for LATAM & EMEA, Commercial Sales. They created a research database, strengthened partner relationships, and provided support to sales managers. In their most recent role at the Canada Border Services Agency, they worked as an Analyst in Commercial & Trade Policy, where they led website transformation, facilitated policy changes, and developed departmental positions on trade-related issues.

Currently, Hazel is employed as a Senior Associate, Research at Perrett Laver.

Hazel Levin pursued their higher education by first attending the University of Ottawa from 2015 to 2019. During this time, they obtained an Honours B.S.Sc Co-Op degree with a focus on Social Sciences. Following their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education at SOAS University of London from 2021 to 2023. There, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in International/Global Studies. In addition to their studies at SOAS, Hazel also acquired a Certificate in Sports Marketing from Northwestern University in 2022.
