Gunilla Ronnberg began their work experience in 1989 as an Organist for Svenska kyrkan i Glanshammar. Gunilla continued in this role until 2006. From 2006 to 2010, Gunilla worked for Askersunds kommun as a Cultural Manager, where they focused on developing a cultural center and promoting collaboration between the municipality, private actors, and study associations. In 2010, they became the Head of Culture Administration for Askersunds kommun, a role they held until 2012. During this time, they also served as the Director for the music school. Gunilla then joined Svenska kyrkan i Kumla in 2012, where they worked as an Organist and Development Manager, with their responsibilities including youth music and liaising with other cultural actors in the civil society. In 2013, they moved to Svenska kyrkan i kvistofta församling as an Organist. Gunilla later became an Organist for Svenska kyrkan i Bjärnum in 2014 and held this position until 2017. Most recently, Gunilla Ronnberg has been serving as the School of Arts Director for Perstorps kommun. Additionally, they have been involved with the INTERNATIONAL SUZUKI ASSOCIATION since 1998, where they have played a key role in the development of the Suzuki organ method, delivered lectures worldwide, published the Suzuki organ school volumes, worked as a teacher trainer, and developed the teacher training web education.
Gunilla Ronnberg attended the University of Gothenburg from 1996 to 2004, but no degree or field of study is specified. In 2002 to 2003, they also attended Örebro University, again with no specific degree or field of study mentioned. Prior to these institutions, they attended the Music Conservatory in Sofia, Bulgaria from 1984 to 1986, without obtaining a degree. Gunilla had previously studied at the Örebro University from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (Fil kand) degree in Piano. In 1979 to 1980, they also briefly attended Musikkonservatoriet i Falun, focusing on music and piano studies.
