Marie-Christine Turcotte

Marie-Christine Turcotte has a diverse work experience in the field of project management and agile methodologies. Marie-Christine began their career in 2012 at iA auto et habitation, where they worked as an Analyste d'affaires/Assurance qualité and took on various roles in the implementation of the Exigen software. Marie-Christine also led a team of quality assurance advisors for document-related testing.

In 2015, Turcotte joined Prysm assurances générales (iA Auto et Habitation) as an Analyste fonctionnel, where they served as Scrum master, Team Lead, and Chargée de projet. Marie-Christine was responsible for team management and project coordination during a significant system update, and they also fulfilled the role of Subject Matter Expert/Product Owner when needed.

Turcotte continued their career at iA Groupe financier (Industrielle Alliance) in 2020, where they held the position of Scrum master/Chargée de projet/RTE. Marie-Christine'sresponsibilities included fostering team collaboration and coaching, promoting Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Kanban, and facilitating the delivery of incremental value.

In 2021, Turcotte joined Hydro-Québec as a Scrum master, focusing on team support, continuous improvement, and the optimization of development processes. Marie-Christine created a positive team dynamic and ensured adherence to quality standards and best practices within the organization.

Most recently, in 2021, Turcotte worked at Cofomo as a Scrum master, where they provided guidance and coaching to the team. And starting in 2022, they will join Petal as a Scrum master senior.

Overall, Turcotte's work experience demonstrates their expertise in project management, agile methodologies, team leadership, and facilitating effective collaboration within teams.

Marie-Christine Turcotte is currently pursuing a Certificat en management from Université TÉLUQ, which they began in 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Programme court d'initiation aux fondements de la gestion in 2018, also from Université TÉLUQ, with a focus on Administration et gestion de l'informatique / technologies de l'information.

In addition to their formal education, Marie-Christine has obtained several certifications. In 2020, they became a Certified SAFe 5 Scrum Master through Scaled Agile, Inc. Marie-Christine also completed the SCRUM with Kanban course from Scrum.org in 2020. Recently, in 2022, they attended the Foundation Workshop offered by Management 3.0 and was awarded a certification for it. Furthermore, in 2023, they earned a certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc.

Further continuing their education and professional development, Marie-Christine is currently enrolled in a program at Convivium focused on the principles of integral development and coaching.
