John Yuen

John Yuen has had a diverse and extensive career in the finance and risk management industry. John is currently serving as the Senior Director of Credit Risk at Petal since January 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Director of Credit Risk at Petal from September 2019 to December 2021.

Before joining Petal, John worked at MoneyLion as the Director of Risk and Analytics from April 2017 to September 2019. John also served as a Risk Manager at OnDeck from April 2015 to November 2016.

John's earlier work experience includes being a Finance Manager at American Express from April 2012 to April 2015 and holding the position of VP, Senior Risk Analyst at Citi Group from August 2010 to April 2012.

Prior to that, they worked as a Strategy Analyst at JP Morgan Chase from July 2008 to August 2010 and gained experience as a Global Wealth Management Intern at Morgan Stanley from May 2007 to April 2008.

Throughout their career, John has held various roles focusing on credit risk management, risk analysis, and finance.

John Yuen obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania between the years of 2004 and 2008.
