Sarmad Saghir

Sarmad Saghir has extensive work experience in various roles within the marketing and growth strategy fields.

Sarmad currently holds the position of SVP Growth at PetPlate since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as an Advisor at Petite Studio NYC and worked as an Independent Marketing and Growth Strategy Consultant.

In 2018, Sarmad held multiple roles at different companies. Sarmad served as VP of Marketing at Adore Me from September 2018 to April 2020. Before that, they worked at Hungryroot as VP Digital Growth, where they were responsible for digital product efforts, performance marketing, direct marketing, and business intelligence.

In 2017, Sarmad worked as the Senior Director Acquisition and Growth Marketing at MM.LaFleur, and from 2016 to 2017, they were the Director of Marketing at Helix Sleep.

Prior to these roles, Sarmad gained valuable experience at Audible, Inc. where they served as Senior Manager Wireless Marketing from August 2013 to December 2015 and as Senior Business Analyst from October 2012 to August 2013. Before joining Audible, they worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Amazon from April 2011 to September 2012.

Sarmad's career at Audible started in 2006, where they held the positions of Senior Associate FP&A, Customer Acquisition and Retention from April 2009 to April 2011, and Associate Partner Content Acquisition from August 2006 to April 2009.

Sarmad Saghir pursued their education in a chronological manner. Sarmad began their academic journey in 1997 at Purdue University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. This program concluded in 2001 after four years of study. Following this, they enrolled at Eastern Illinois University in 2002 and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2004, with a focus on business. These two educational experiences form the basis of Sarmad Saghir's education history, with the attainment of a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Eastern Illinois University.
