Charles R. Webb

Since joining Petra in 2013, Charles has been active in all aspects of the firm’s investment origination, structuring, diligence, and portfolio monitoring efforts. He focuses on business services and technology enabled services companies, particularly business models with a proprietary technology that can solve complex problems faster and cheaper than their peers.

Previously, Charles spent four years at Dallas-based Commerce Street Capital in various accounting and finance roles. Charles earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and subsequently his Master of Science in Accounting from The Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. Charles is a Certified Public Accountant.

Currently, Charles is a Board member of Explore Community School, a project based learning charter school in East Nashville. He is also a Board member of the YMCA Community Action Program (YCAP), an organization that serves at-risk and underserved youth, from kindergarten through graduation, in the Metro Nashville/Davidson County area.
