Jeffrey Birkel

Jeffrey Birkel has held a variety of roles in their career. In 2020, they began working as an Engineering Consultant for Petra Undergrounding. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as the General Manager for JMC Ranch, a 5th Generation ranch owner/operator specializing in high quality Angus beef range fed on natural prairie grass, corn, soybeans, and alfalfa. Prior to this, they worked for Caterpillar Inc. from 1984 to 2017, in roles such as Engineering Manager - Advanced Components & Systems, Restructuring Manager, Engineering Management, and Drivetrain Engineer.

Jeffrey Birkel received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Agricultural Engineering from Purdue University between 1980 and 1984. Jeffrey then continued their education at Bradley University, where they completed their Master of Business Administration between 1987 and 1991.
