3D Generalist at PETROL Advertising

Sitong Chen has a diverse range of work experiences in the field of 3D art and animation. In 2018, Sitong worked as an Art Intern for a mobile game project, where they assisted the Art Director and designed stylized game props. They also had the opportunity to attend meetings with art directors from Lucas and Disney, providing Chinese-English translation and taking notes. In 2020, Sitong worked as a 3D Artist for the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, creating stylized characters with animations for an augmented reality project aimed at children. They were actively involved in the design process to enhance the interactive experience. During the same year, Sitong also worked as a 3D Generalist, creating a 3D animation for a book advertisement. This involved creating a 3D scene and materials using Maya and Arnold, as well as creating stylized characters with rigging. Sitong's most recent work experience is with PETROL Advertising, where they started as a 3D Generalist Intern and later transitioned into a full-time role as a 3D Generalist.

Sitong Chen obtained a Master's degree in Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a BFA in 3D Digital Design from Rochester Institute of Technology, attending from 2015 to 2019. They also obtained a High School Diploma from Mercy High School in 2014-2015 and Lawrenceburg County High School in 2013-2014. In terms of additional certifications, Sitong Chen obtained a "Master of Entertainment Technology" certification from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2021, and an "Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED" certification from the American Red Cross in December 2017.
