Roger Shao

Roger Shao is an experienced accounting professional with a significant background in assurance and financial reporting. Currently serving as a Controller at Pacific Coast Energy Company LP since November 2023 and a Board Member and Chair of the Financial Reporting & Tax Committee at the Petroleum Accountants Society of Houston since August 2018, Roger has held various senior positions in auditing and accounting. Previous roles include Assurance Senior Manager at RSM US LLP and Moss Adams, Audit Senior Manager at Hein & Associates, Director of Accounting at Phoenix Services, LLC, and Audit Manager at UHY LLP. Roger's career began at Deloitte as an Audit Senior and includes earlier experiences as a Staff Accountant and Administrative Assistant. Roger holds a Master of Science in Accountancy and a BBA in Accounting, both from the University of Houston's C.T. Bauer College of Business.
