Ahmed Abdelnaby has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Ahmed started their career at Al-Aqsa Engineering Consultancy as an MEP Design Engineer, where they contributed to the design and planning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for building construction projects. Ahmed prepared detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software and ensured compliance with project requirements and codes.

Later, Ahmed joined Petromaint as an Execution Mechanical Construction Engineer, where they managed construction sites and ensured work was carried out according to design specifications and safety regulations. Ahmed performed quality control checks to ensure high-quality work and adherence to project specifications.

At Petromaint, they advanced to the role of Senior Planning Engineer, responsible for project planning, cost estimation, and schedule management. Ahmed used tools like Primavera P6 to develop and maintain project plans, identify risks, and propose solutions.

Currently, Ahmed holds the position of Projects Planner & Scheduler Section Head at Petromaint, where they continue to oversee project planning, cost estimation, resource allocation, risk management, and report preparation. Ahmed utilizes their expertise in Primavera P6 to identify project objectives, constraints, and dependencies and incorporate them into comprehensive plans.

Ahmed Abdelnaby obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Alexandria University, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) from the Project Management Institute in August 2023, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in October 2022, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) from 6sigmastudy in July 2022, Six Sigma Yellow Belt from 6sigmastudy in June 2020, ASNT NDT Level II from the Egyptian Welding Academy in February 2015, International Computer Drivers License - Level One (ICDL) from ICDL Arabia in May 2014, and Microsoft Office Specialist Master Certification (MOS) from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in August 2013.
