Florian Horenkamp

Biophysics Lab Head (senior Principal Scientist) at Pfizer

Florian Horenkamp has had a diverse range of work experiences. Florian began their career as a PhD student at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Physiology from July 2006 to August 2010. Following that, they worked at Yale University School of Medicine as a Postdoctoral Associate from September 2010 to August 2018, where they collaborated on various research projects and mentored graduate students. Since September 2018, Florian has been at Pfizer, where they have held several roles, including Senior Scientist, Biophysics Lab Head (Principal Scientist), and currently Biophysics Lab Head (Senior Principal Scientist).

Florian Horenkamp completed their education with a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Universität zu Lübeck in 2004. Florian then pursued a Master of Science in Life Science at the same institution from 2004 to 2006. Florian furthered their studies by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from TU Dortmund University, completing their PhD in 2010.
