Thomas Lorang

Thomas Lorang has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Head of Margin Management and Commercial Controlling at Pfleiderer Group since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director at StrategyDigitized in December 2022. Thomas also worked at Haniel as the Director of Margin Management from May 2022 to November 2022. Before that, they held the position of Lead Strategic Pricing at Henkel from March 2021 to April 2022. Thomas has also worked at Baxter International Inc. as Lead Pricing and Tender Management from June 2020 to February 2021. Thomas served as the Director of Commercial Planning & Pricing at MSD Sharp & Dohme GmbH from April 2018 to May 2020. Thomas also has experience working at Novartis, where they held various roles including Global Pricing Manager, Key Account Manager, and Manager Commercial Strategy from 2013 to 2017. Thomas started their career as a Marketing Consultant at WACKER and later worked as a Project Technician at Dr. Johannes Heidenhain GmbH.

Thomas Lorang obtained a Master of Liberal Arts in Extension Studies with a focus on Finance from Harvard University between 2017 and 2021. Thomas also holds a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Investment and a Graduate Certificate in Corporate Finance, both from Harvard University. In 2021, they completed the Real Estate Investment Graduate Certificate, while in 2020, they obtained the Corporate Finance Graduate Certificate. Furthermore, Thomas Lorang completed the Leadership for the 21st Century program at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government in 2019. In 2017, they completed the HBX Core program at Harvard Business School.

Before their time at Harvard, Thomas Lorang attended the Technical University of Munich in 2010 to 2012, the University of St.Gallen in 2011, Tsinghua University in 2010, UC Santa Barbara in 2008, and DHBW Heidenheim from 2005 to 2008. Prior to starting their university studies, they attended Vocational School, where they obtained a degree in IT Systems Engineering between 1999 and 2002.
