Malathi Kandaswamy

Malathi Kandaswamy has a solid work experience in the field of data engineering and analysis. Starting from 2003, they worked as a Senior Associate at Cognizant, where they gained expertise in data warehousing, ETL, and reporting systems across various industries. Malathi then joined E*TRADE in 2016 as a Lead Data Analyst, where they developed data models, SQL queries, and stored procedures to consolidate data from multiple sources. Malathi also managed the administration of Business Objects Universes. In the same year, they also started working at Direct Energy as a Supply, Trading & Risk Senior Analyst, where they handled an Oracle data warehouse and developed SSIS-based ETL processes. In 2021, they moved to NRG Energy as a Sr. Big Data Developer, building integrated data pipelines and reusable frameworks using Python, Pyspark, and serverless technologies. In 2022, they joined PGIM Fixed Income as a Director, Data Engineer.

They have also obtained various certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2023, Problem Solving and Adaptability & Resilience from McKinsey & Company in 2023, SnowPro Core Certification from Snowflake in December 2022, Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2020, and AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2020 and 2023 respectively.
