Jill Cook has a varied work experience that spans several roles and companies. Jill started their career in 1994 as a Business Development professional at Tours International Incoming. Jill then moved on to work at Go West Ltd. as a Tour Coordinator in 1995. From there, Jill joined PGL Travel in 1996 and has held multiple positions throughout their tenure, including Ski Business Manager, Ski & International Business Manager, and currently serves as the Head of Customer Services. These roles have provided Jill with extensive experience in tour operations, sales, contracting, operations, product development, forecasting, budget control, and managing sales teams.

Jill Cook attended Nottingham High School for Girls from 1975 to 1987, where they studied French Studies, German, and Maths A-level. Jill then enrolled at the University of Bradford from 1987 to 1991, earning a BA (Hons) degree in Modern Languages with a focus on German and Russian.
