John Riley

John Riley has extensive work experience in the field of pharmaceuticals and chemistry. John is currently the Director of Process Chemistry at Pharmaron, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to that, John worked at BioVectra Inc. from 2006 to 2023, where they held several roles including Director of Process Development - Chemistry, Program Manager of Research & Development, Senior Research Scientist, and Research Scientist. Before joining BioVectra Inc., John worked as a Research Scientist at NAEJA Pharmaceutical Inc. from 2005 to 2006. John also has experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Queen's University from 2003 to 2005 and at the University of South Florida in 2003.

John Riley's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology-Chemistry from the University of New Brunswick, which they completed from 1994 to 1998. John then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry at Dalhousie University from 1998 to 2003. Following this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Organic Chemistry at Queen's University from 2003 to 2005.
