Full-time Retail Pharmacy Manager

Full-Time Retail Pharmacy Manager Position Available at First Choice Primary Care in Macon, GA.  (Located within the clinic at First Choice Primary Care.)

• Schedule: 8am to 6pm (4 days per week, 10 hour shifts).  Monday-Thursday and some weekends when needed.

• Benefits Eligible (Insurance Options, PTO, 401(k) with Matching, etc.)

• This is an onsite position in Macon, GA.  This is not a remote position.

 Job Overview:

Fulfills all legal and regulatory requirements, including evaluation, selection, procurement and distribution of drugs, counseling and professional consultation. Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as policies of the hospital/clinic and PharmD on Demand. Interprets physician medication orders. Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals and related products for patient care by performing related duties. Responsible for supervising technicians on duty during shift.

Ability to represent the hospital/clinic and PharmD on Demand in a positive and professional manner; ability to maintain customer confidentiality at all times; ability to comply with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices; ability to exercise judgment; ability to interact with all types of people; ability to maintain remain professional in all situations; ability to use time effectively. Works closely with the Pharmacy Leader to operate the retail pharmacy in a safe and effective manner.
