Cara Treadway

Cara Treadway has a diverse work experience in the zoo and entertainment industries. Cara started their career at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in 2003, where they served as a Supervisor of Camps & School Programs until 2015. Cara then became an Education Manager until 2018. In 2018, they joined ZooTampa at Lowry Park as the Director of Education until 2020, when they were promoted to Senior Director of Guest Engagement. Cara worked in this role until 2022 when they transitioned to their current position as VP Mission, Guest and Community Engagement at the Philadelphia Zoo.

Cara Treadway holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Rhode Island. Cara also obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching degree, specializing in Secondary Science Education, from Tufts University.
