Jim Dietrich is an experienced professional in geographic information systems (GIS) and data quality control, currently serving as an Area Data QC/GIS Technician at Phillips & Jordan, Inc. since October 2019. In this role, Jim provides technical and data support for AEP's Hazard Tree Removal Program while managing and training a team focused on property owner interactions and escalation issues. Previously, Jim held various roles at TomTom, including Senior Geographic Sourcing Analyst and Geographic Field Analyst, where responsibilities included improving the quality of commercial map databases and overseeing mobile mapping operations. Jim also has experience as a Local Data Collector with Tele Atlas and worked in forestry as a Survey Forester/Arborist with World Tree, Inc. Jim holds an Associate of Science degree in Forestry from Hocking College.
