Gemma Bond

Gemma joined the PHL in 2017 as part of the senior clinical team.

Gemma is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and has extensive experience in primary care and integrated urgent care. Gemma is a hands-on practitioner within PHL’s clinical call centre, acting as Clinical Lead during times of surge during the service and leading all recruitment, induction and training activities.

Gemma is the Designated Nurse for Safeguarding at PHL. The Designated Nurse for Safeguarding provides safeguarding, child and adult protection expertise and leadership throughout health and multi-agency partnerships. The role is pivotal to complex case management, improved partnership working, strategic planning, quality assurance and performance monitoring.
