Emilia Mickevicius

Emilia Mickevicius currently serves as the Norton Family Assistant Curator of Photography at both the Phoenix Art Museum and the Center for Creative Photography since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Curatorial Associate and Curatorial Assistant in Photography at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art from September 2019 to May 2023. Emilia's earlier positions include Graduate Teaching Assistant at Brown University, Graduate Curatorial Proctor at the RISD Museum, and various roles at the University of Chicago and The Art Institute of Chicago, including Curatorial Intern in the Department of Photography. Emilia holds a PhD in History of Art and Architecture from Brown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Chicago.
