Parker Forsberg

Parker Forsberg has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. From 2019 to the present, they have worked at Phoenix Defense, LLC. as an Information Assurance Engineer III. In this role, they are part of a Cyber Security team responsible for managing the design, implementation, validation, and sustainment of a Department of Defense Information Assurance Program. They develop and manage plans for achieving and maintaining an Authority to Operate following frameworks such as the Risk Management Framework and National Institute of Standards and Technology 800 Series. They also utilize their system security experience to implement security technical implementation guides using tools like ACAS, Nessus, and other vulnerability scanners.

Before their current role, Parker worked at the same company as an Information Assurance Engineer II from 2021 to 2022, and as an Information Assurance Engineer I from 2020 to 2021. Prior to joining Phoenix Defense, LLC., they worked at The DiSTI Corporation as an Information Technology Specialist from 2018 to 2019. Parker's earlier work experience includes roles at Sus Hi Eatstation as a Ninja/Front of House from 2017 to 2018, where they fulfilled customers' orders, carried out multiple tasks simultaneously, and promoted a fun and creative atmosphere in a Ninja-themed sushi restaurant. They also worked at Napoli Pizza Restaurant as a Delivery Driver and General Duties from 2014 to 2015, where they independently delivered food orders with speed and precision and assisted with basic food preparation and restaurant duties.

Parker Forsberg attended Timber Creek High School from 2010 to 2014. After graduating from high school, Parker pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Central Florida from 2014 to 2018. Additionally, in May 2022, Parker obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA.
