Harshal Mahajan

Harshal Mahajan has over 15 years of work experience, with their most recent role being the Global Lead - Business Integration & Program Management at PI Industries Ltd. In this position, they are responsible for end-to-end business management for the Health Science Vertical, including CRO, CRAMS, and API Solutions. Harshal is also leading the business integration of a newly set up entity and overseeing its execution.

Prior to this, Harshal worked at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories as the Director - Lead of Commercial Excellence, Management Systems & Strategy. In this role, they led the Commercial Excellence and Strategic Projects for the Global API & Pharmaceuticals Services Business and served as a strategic advisor to the Global CEO of API Business. Harshal also supported the digital transformation of commercial excellence and transformation projects.

Before joining Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Harshal was at SUN PHARMA, where they worked as the Business Strategy & Operations in the office of the CEO of API business from 2019 to 2022.

From 2017 to 2019, Harshal worked at Zydus Group as the Manager of Business Strategy & Operations in the President's Office of BU Mfg & CEO-API business. Harshal was responsible for implementing a robust governance structure for the President/CEO office and provided strategic planning and analysis for the BU Mfg & API business segment.

Prior to their time at Zydus Group, Harshal worked at Cipla from 2012 to 2017. Harshal served as the Executive Assistant in the MD & GCEO's Office, facilitating support for the Global CEO and MD. Harshal also worked in business planning and operations in emerging and EU markets and served as a global program manager for new launch and commercial business in the Global Respiratory Business.

Harshal began their career at Economic Zones World in 2012 as the International Trade & Development Manager, where they developed strategies and executed plans for excavating and trading minerals and mines.

Before that, they worked at Arshiya International Ltd. as an Executive Assistant to the President & Group CEO of India's first Free Trade Zone. Harshal managed team operations, handled major accounts, and gained cross-cultural exposure.

In 2008, Harshal had an internship at Mahindra & Mahindra as a Process Excellence Manager in the FMCG sector, where they worked on projects for Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) and Aditya Birla's Retail Outlet, MORE.

Prior to their internship, Harshal worked as a Business Development Executive at marcus evans Group, where they provided business solutions to key decision-makers through various events and successfully marketed and organized corporate events across different sectors.

Harshal Mahajan completed their MBA in Operations Management with a focus on International Operations Management from the University of Mumbai between 2007 and 2009.
