Deniz Mengu

Deniz Mengu started their work experience in 2009 as an Intern Electrical Engineer at Borusan Mannesmann. They then went on to work as an Intern VLSI Design Engineer at Tübitak Uzay Teknolojileri Araştırma Enstitüsü in 2011. From 2013 to 2016, Deniz worked as a Research & Teaching Assistant at Koç University. In 2016, they joined UCLA as a Graduate Student Researcher and stayed in that role until February 2023. Currently, Deniz works as a Machine Learning Researcher at PictorLabs Inc, starting in January 2023.

Deniz Mengu has a strong educational background in electrical and computer engineering. They began their education at the Middle East Technical University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2006 to 2012. During their undergraduate studies, Deniz Mengu also had the opportunity to participate in an exchange program at the Technical University of Denmark as an Erasmus Student in 2010.

Following their bachelor's degree, Deniz Mengu pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Koç University from 2013 to 2016. Building on their solid foundation, they further specialized in this field.

Deniz Mengu's academic journey continued with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program at UCLA. From 2016 to 2022, they focused on their research and studies in electrical and computer engineering. This comprehensive program aimed to deepen their knowledge and expertise in the field.

Overall, Deniz Mengu's education has equipped them with a strong background in electrical and electronics engineering, culminating in their pursuit of a doctoral degree at UCLA.
