Mert Gencer

Mert Gencer began their work experience as a Recruitment Intern at sHR Consultancy in June 2017. Mert then worked as a Research Assistant at Koç University from February 2017 to June 2019. In July 2018, Mert joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a CEEMA Sales Strategy & Planning Intern, where they worked on various projects and tasks related to market analysis, sales enablement, and funnel management. In July 2019, they transitioned to the role of CERTA Sales Strategy and Planning, where they took on additional responsibilities such as overseeing the country SMB segment and implementing an Excel-based tool for tracking and measuring SMB business. Mert also worked as a Sales Strategy and Planning specialist for Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan cluster at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from November 2020 to February 2021. In January 2023, they joined Picus Security as a Revenue Operations Specialist.

Mert Gencer started their education in 2014 and completed Bachelor's degrees in both Business Administration and Economics at Koç University, with the former ending in 2018 and the latter in 2019. In 2017 and 2018, they studied through a Bachelor Exchange program at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, focusing on International Business Administration. Additionally, Mert Gencer obtained several certifications, including a Certificate of Attendance for the Design Workshop for Sustainability and Social Impact from Arkhé Projesi in September 2020. Mert also received certifications in Gardening and Ecological Farming from the Wheat Association for Supporting Ecological Living in February 2020, and participated in the Arkhe Economics Summer School at Bilkent University, obtaining a Certificate of Attendance in August 2018. Furthermore, Mert Gencer received a Certificate in Semi-Professional Cookery from the Mutfak Sanatları Akademisi in July 2018.
