Leonie Bossemeyer's work experience begins in 2018 as an Intern at the German Council of Economic Experts, where they collaborated in research and created a Stata tool for simulating economic effects. Leonie also conducted research on the effects of globalization on voter behavior in the EU. In 2018, they also worked as an Intern at SPIEGEL ONLINE in the field of Data Journalism.

From 2018 to 2021, Bossemeyer worked as a Research Assistant at LMU - Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
