David Sackstein

David Sackstein has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. David is currently working as a Software Consultant at Piiano since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Code Precise for over 10 years as a Consultant, Developer, and Trainer. In this role, they developed high-quality software using various programming languages and applied their expertise in video technologies. David also worked as a Speaker at ACCU in 2015, a Software Consultant at Trainologic in 2014, and as the CTO of Microsoft Development Technologies at John Bryce from 2008 to 2011. Before that, they held positions as the VP of R&D and CTO at Optibase, where they developed algorithms and software for video compression and streaming products. David also gained experience in real-time systems, hardware-software integration, and graphical user interface software. David started their career as a Software Engineer at IBM Research in 1993.

David Sackstein has a strong educational background, with degrees in both Mathematics and Electrical Engineering. David first attended Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1994, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, completing it in 1993. Later, from 2003 to 2004, David attended Tel Aviv University, where they obtained their MBA with a specialization in Business Studies.
