Sean R.

Sean R. has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering and project management field. Sean is currently working as a Project Development Lead at Pilbara Minerals Limited since October 2022. Prior to that, they were an Engineering Manager at Hatch from March 2022 to October 2022. Before joining Hatch, Sean worked at Primero Group Ltd as a Lead Mechanical Engineer/Design Manager from April 2019 to March 2022. Sean also had a Manager, Project Value Assurance role at Kinross Gold Corporation from July 2018 to April 2019, where they performed financial analysis and evaluation for capital projects. In addition, Sean has experience as a Lead Mechanical Engineer at Halyard Inc. from February 2017 to July 2018, and as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Lycopodium Ltd from March 2015 to February 2017. Sean started their career as an Engineering Project Manager at AMEC from September 2013 to March 2015 and as a Mechanical Engineer at Hatch from February 2008 to September 2013. Throughout their career, Sean has worked on various mining and minerals projects globally, including gold, nickel, coal, copper, and iron ore.

Sean R. began their education in 2004 when they enrolled at The University of Queensland for a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Sean completed their undergraduate studies in 2007.

After a gap of a few years, Sean R. resumed their education in 2010 and joined the University of Southern Queensland. Here, they pursued a Masters of Business degree with a specialization in Applied Finance. Sean successfully completed this program in 2011.

In terms of additional certifications, Sean R. obtained the Professional Engineer (P. Eng) designation from the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) in September 2014.
