David Williamson has worked in the technology industry since 1996. David began their career as a Network Administrator at Synopsys, where they were part of a team responsible for design, installation, and operations of a large corporate OSPF network. In 1997, they moved to Global Networking and Computing, where they held the role of Member of the Technical Staff. In 1999, they were promoted to Network Architect and Manager of Network Engineering. In 2004, they joined Tellme Networks, a Microsoft subsidiary, as an Operations Architect. During their tenure at Tellme, they supervised the technical integration of Tellme's service operations into the Microsoft ecosystem, led all IPv6 adoption efforts, and created a VoIP peering plan. David also managed a team of network architects and oversaw the replacement and upgrade of key core routers without any service outages. From 2010 to 2014, Williamson worked at Microsoft as a Senior Service Engineer. David created a new network architecture for deployment of Tellme services for Microsoft applications and implemented the process for the technical separation of the Tellme network and service infrastructure. Finally, they joined Pinger in 2014 as a Lead Operations Engineer.
David Williamson received a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Harvey Mudd College between 1988 and 1992. David then went on to receive a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix between 2003 and 2004.
