Mark Sneed

Mark Sneed has extensive experience in telecommunications and public safety. Currently serving as Lead Outside Plant Engineering Sales at Pioneer Telephone since April 2021, Mark specializes in strategic planning and implementation for underserved markets in Oklahoma, focusing on services such as Ethernet, GPON, VoIP, and SIP trunks. Prior roles at Pioneer Telephone Cooperative include Outside Plant Sales and Engineering Administrator, where responsibilities included network planning and operation supervision for a subscriber base of 25,000. Mark also held the position of Assistant Fire Chief at Blanchard Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years, overseeing firefighter operations and training. Beginning a career in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Armament Systems Specialist, Mark maintained electrical systems on fighter aircraft. Mark holds an Electronics degree from the Community College of the Air Force and a high school diploma from A J Terrell High School.
