Kristian Kivimägi

Kristian Kivimägi has had extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Kristian started their career in 2014 as a researcher at ELIKO and worked there until 2015. In 2013, they became a cybersecurity specialist and partner at FocusIT OÜ and continued in that role until 2017. In 2016, they joined Pipedrive as a cyber security specialist and later moved up to become a security engineer in 2020. In 2021, they became the Head of Security Operations and eventually took on the role of Head of Cyber Security in 2023. Alongside their corporate roles, they also worked as a guest lecturer at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology starting in 2019.

Kristian Kivimägi completed their Master's degree in Cyber Security - Digital forensics from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology. Kristian pursued this degree from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Estonian Information Technology College from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a specific vocational qualification equivalent to a bachelor's degree in IT Systems Administration. Kristian'searlier education includes their time at Pärnu Ühisgümnaasium from 1999 to 2011, although no degree or field of study is specified for this period.
