Claudia Mendez

Claudia Mendez began their professional career in 2015 as a Front House Worker at 19 Metro Station- Campus Dining. In 2016, they took on an Animal Care Technician role at Reptile Husbandry Enterprise at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, as well as a Design Project role for Introduction to Mechanical Engineering for Transfers (ME 229). Claudia also worked as a Project Manager Internship at Western Allied Mechanical in 2017. That same year, they became a Resident Advisor at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. In 2019, they held a Mechanical Engineer Intern role at Structural Integrity Associates and a ME 507: Mechanical Hand role at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. In 2020, they worked as a Pre-Construction Engineer at Industrial Commercial Systems, Inc., and in 2021, they became a Research and Development Engineer at Pivotal Systems.

Claudia Mendez graduated from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering with a Concentration in Mechatronics and a Minor in Computer Science.
