Appu Esthose Suresh started their work experience in 2008 as a Principal Correspondent for The Sunday Guardian. Appu Esthose then worked as a Staff Writer for LiveMint from 2010 to 2012. After that, they served as an Assistant Editor for The Indian Express from 2012 to 2015. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Special Project Editor for Hindustan Times. Since 2017, they have been a Senior Fellow at the LSE International Inequalities Institute. In 2021, they founded Pixstory.

Appu Esthose Suresh pursued a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economy from St. Stephen's College, Delhi. This educational journey took place from 2005 to 2008. Later, in 2017 to 2018, Appu Esthose Suresh attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to complete an MSc degree in Inequality.
