Misha Kazekin

Misha Kazekin has extensive work experience in the field of machine learning and software development. They currently work at Place Exchange as an Engineering Lead, where they are responsible for leading projects and product features in the digital out-of-home industry. Some of their key responsibilities include building pipelines for generating viewability zones for ad showing screens, defining metrics and building data quality pipelines, and evaluating 3rd party mobile location data.

Before joining Place Exchange, Misha worked at Intersection Co. as a Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning. During their time there, they led efforts on ML/AI/Analytics projects and product features, with a focus on smart cities. Their work involved building footfall traffic predictive models, R&D of object detection approaches, and building predictive models for energy consumption in buildings.

Misha Kazekin pursued higher education at Saint-Petersburg State University, Mathematics & Mechanics Faculty. From 2001 to 2006, Misha obtained a Master's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
